Why are you asking ?

The warrant is over 15 yrs old.....it may not even be valid anymore.

I am asking because I am curious and seen that poster for a long time myselfe and started to wonder how many cases the Marshals have at once.

Then how fast it a normal verifying process at NCIC?

Its just so amazing that a man can just vanish like that..without any trace what so ever.

Well acording to there own estimates they capture 34,000 fugitves themselves, and asist in another 27,000 on a local level. That information is online and easy to find. If you know a way to make money on ten year old case give me a call.

Points well taken. How many years did it take to catch the Unibomber and the Atlanta Olympics bomber?

However there are thousands that "disappear" in this country every year. Some for their own purposes, others due to someone else wanting them to disappear.

If the great U.S. government can't find someone without help from civilians calling in a tip, what makes one think that they can find an obviously "smart" criminal looking to hide and probably has more firepower than any leo?

Remember, the great dog found Luster through a tip by a tourista in Ole Mexico. He didn't find him with his own great tracking skills!
