Post subject:  writing a book to commemorate BEA's

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I know that there are a great many more people that read these boards than post and I get it. I have a proposition:

Since I don't believe the bailbond business will last forever,

Since I understand that there are many Professional BEA's that toil quietly and unheralded everyday, doing it correctly, but are not known to the general public

Since I know that we would all like to leave a legacy to our children and grandchildren of the good that we have done and continue to do

Since I know that there is no organization that supports fallen comrades in our chosen field,

I want to write a book about all of us. Here is the premise, that anyone who contributes to this compilation becomes a voting member of the board, the board will be responsible for allocation of funds the book generates to those that make application and are found worthy, that all proceeds of this book are the sole asset of this not for profit organization,
That this orgaqnization be formed as a not for profit philanthropic group for the sole benefit of fallen BEA's and their families, and other charities as the board sees fit to fund.

What do I need from you? I want three stories from each of you.
I want your proudest accomplishment in this field
I want the funniest thing that ever happened to you in this field
I want the scariest experience that ever happened to you in this field

Do not worry about grammer or spelling, the publishers have a very distinct format that they accept manuscripts in. All edited submissions will be returned for corrections to you, we want to get it right.

If you wish to commemorate someone who taught you this business, that is no longer with us, you may submit that as well, in fact, it is encouraged.
Even if it is someone who isn't hunting anymore but still around. Go interview them and submit your work product. All contributors will be credited for their work product.

I want to do this to give back and create a fund to help those in need.

Depending on the feedback, I may solicit someone to create a special website for this project. Please share this opportunity with BEA's that may not be on this board as well, so that nobody is left out.

Scott
