Post subject: | Good Experience In Oklahoma |
I went to Mcalester Oklahoma last week after a guy. Had another good experience in that state. I went to the PD and told them what we were doing and checked to see if they had any contact with the skip. Two dispatchers and a road cop were present and more than helpful. I told them I was supposed to take a LEO or local bondsman with me, but really didnt need the help and wanted to comply with the law. They told me not to worry about it. They had enough to deal with of their own, let alone Missouri roughnecks coming to town. LOL They said to do what we had to do and get him out of there. No need to call back unless we needed help. Seems to be that way in most places as long as you are respectful and let them make the decision on what you should do to satisfy them. Everything went down without a hitch. 19 hours from the time I left til the time I got back and a little over 1000 miles. Long day, but a good day. I like going to OK. |

Most of Oklahoma seems to be that way but in Oklahoma city they send police officers with you to assist it seems to be their SOP. |

OKC officers have always been very helpful to me. Like you said, I think that is their SOP. We had a guy that had went there to his brothers house a few years back. We located him and were sitting on the house. Called the PD and they said to call if we saw him. Well, he came out of there runnin. Somehow he made us? Still havent figgered that out. Anyway, I bailed and ran, my partner gave chase in the car and called PD back at the same time. They sent two cars and performed a hell of a search then told the brother in no uncertain terms that they would be watching and if they caught him there the brother would be arrested for harboring. We came on home and the next day I got a call from the brother. He had brought him back here to turn him in. LOL I love it when that happens. Cops scared him to death. |

My team and I routinely operate throughout the entire state of Ga. We've been into Atlanta, Northern Ga. southwest, etc. We have always had exceptional assistance from LE. |

I used him on a GA case one time. He did a good job. Being new to the boards, I didnt know if he hung around or not. Just curious. Hell, Ive been in business 7+ yrs now and didnt know there WERE boards for folks like us, til recently. LOL Of course my partner has been in the business 24 yrs and dont know what a message board is. He would say it was a 2x4 you pass notes on at a job site. LOL |

Since I don't live there, I don't know him. I use Richard Cox for my Ga. apprehensions, he's either related to someone in LE, a judge, DA, Sheriff, Police Chief, etc or went to school with them, or they're in his bike club. Whenever I need intel from Ga, I tell him, and usually within 24 hrs I've got what I need. He's just 1 of these guys that is local born n bred and has developed untouchable resources over the years. |
