Timothy Boggs Relocates To Downtown Building
Boggs Is Currently Renting Out A Downtown Sacramento Space From Bounty Hunter, Leonard Padilla, After Being Ejected From The Hotel Berry.

(AP) SACRAMENTO Convicted child molester Timothy Lee Boggs is now living in a downtown Sacramento office building that houses offices for attorneys and bail bondsmen.

Sacramento bounty hunter Leonard Padilla rented the space to Boggs after he was kicked out of a downtown hotel Monday.

Boggs had spent a quiet weekend at the Hotel Berry after his release Friday from Atascadero State Hospital.

They should be able to keep an eye on him @ his new home:

It's straight across from the Court House,
Four blocks from the County Jail,
Couple of blocks from the DA's office,
Not near any schools that I'm aware of.

At least that would be an easy find for Mr. Padilla. I would never let a creep like that rent anything from me... period!

This should help too: "When Boggs is released, he will wear a satellite-tracking device on his ankle. "

Would be a brilliant move for a Bail Bonds company to start putting these on everyone they bond out... Would put all of the BEAs out of business :P

No it wouldn't be brilliant for bail bond companies to do this. First off, it's way too expensive to even consider. Second, if somebody is going to jump bond, then all they had to do is cut it off their leg. Then you would still need a BEA to fetch him for you. Nice thought though...

Some states such as California are going to EM for POST CONVICTION felons to reduce the cost of long jail sentences and parole officer monioring. So, electronic monitoring is coming.

Some bail agents are getting into it also to to keep track of defendants with large bonds. The defendant pays for it, about $10 a day. This has allowed some defendants with very high bails to have the bail amount reduced by the court with the condition of EM.

Yes, they can still cut them off. Many do. So there will still be a need for recovery agents.

Here in Arkansas and in North Carolina they have realized that the EM does not work like it has been advertised. If they do not have enough cell towers they can't get an exact location and if there is not a tower at all they lose them all together.

Last year LuVonda told a company we were going to distribute for that maybe we sould just put a fence around Little Rock so they could monitor everyone on a bracelet. They had sent one to us and we do have cell coverage but the unit did not pick up a signal even out in the open from our town.
