http://www.beabountyhunter.com/course.htm

If not, is there any reputable online courses or books that I can purchase to learn the trade of fugitive recovery? I am located in Indiana and am just starting to investigate the potential career opportunities.

Thanks,

Matt

That Web Site belongs to Scott Harrell, he is well known and respected in the industry.

I also recommend www.uenforcebail.com owned by Rex Venator and www.beagent.com owned by Lance Wilkinson, both of these sites offer training books authored by industry pro's.

I have another question if anyone can answer it for me. Is it possible to be a police officer and do fugitive recovery work at the same time?

Thanks,

Matt

Matt the answer is in some states yes and some states no--you are not a state actor as a bea so there is a conflict there also in some states you are on duty 24/7 so you could not do bea work other states you can --also many pds do not allow you to do this work off duty--In reality bea is short lived many states are toughining laws and outright trying to get rid of commercial bail so the bea will fade into the sunset and the funny thing about it is we are helping our legislators eliminate us every day we give them more ammo and do not fight a good fight--i am personally tired of lip service--fight or die that is our only option at this time if we remain complacent we fade away like a bad dream--if the dems win this election watch the rash of new gun and anti bea laws get enacted

Matt,

In the state of Indiana, you are prohibited from being a bail bondsman or a recovery agent if you a law enforcement officer.
