Every once in a while we are all treated to having a good day on the hunt. Today was ours... we scooped up two defendants for two Surety Agents for a combined total of $70,000.00 in saved bail money.

Excellent as always, Lance and team. I could use a few of those high dollar ones. 8)

Great going guys !

Right now I have a case load of about 12 (it grows more each day) totaling around $80 k in forfeitures.

Too bad we don't get paid by percentages (:

Hey Mindtracker,

Most if not all of the BFRPs up here in the Bay Area do work for the percentage of the bond. The one time we used outside help years ago, we paid the agent our 10% premium that we collected from the client.

If it is a old case that has been stepped on or if it is a very large bond (over $100K), the BFRPs may get 25% or more of the bond amount.

Are you working on a flat rate?

I am presently employed by a corporation. so I am on a salary+ a percentage commission. We have all of the standard corp benefits, company cars, commercial office with all of the support we need. So it isn't a bad deal considering. I've worked this thing from both sides, and there are pros and cons to both.
