How To team up With Bounty Hunters?

I love tracking people, my favorite game was to play call of duty black ops and try to find people's work and home addresses and message them with them. I think it would be a fun hobby to track down criminals with my computer stalking skills. How can I go about this, and are there any legal issues that I should know of?

Now I was playing around with Krystle Leigh Lyman's data and she was apparently arrested recently with a 34 year old guy who looks a lot like her brother. this guy is named Brian Cox who is also 34.

What you are referring to is skip tracing. There's a market for that in this industry, however discretion is needed, posting info about people in a public forum that will show up in a google search down the road is not discreet. As professional investigators most of us have Accurint or other search accounts that offer relationship diagrams. However, as I mentioned there may be a use for a good skip tracer to save time.

What info you can find in "public areas" is available to others also. So most bondsmen and hunters use those techniques first.

Then if need be, they use a data service like Chuck mentioned that is not available to the general public that has even more information on subjects.

So, not to throw water on your ambition but, most of us already have the ability to "track" people we are looking for.

If you want to make this a career, then you should try to find work with a bail bond agency.

Also, in some states, even skip tracing falls under the Private Investigation laws and would require that you be licensed as such. Many states are now prosecuting unlicensed private investigators. Even if it is legal to skip trace without a license in your area, offering that information across state lines is a potential violation of state law on the other end. Knowing the law wherever you offer services is vital to avoid prosecution and possible jail time.

Mr. Treman,, I can appreciate your enthusiasm but soak in what these gentleman are saying. One small slip up, in this field can cause you to end up behind bars yourself. There are some counties in Michigan, that will lock you up if you are doing recoveries with out a bail bonding/private investigation license. So yes, there will be legal issues you need to be aware of. And I can also assure you that 90% of recovery is not searching addresses on the internet. And if you do start doing recovery work, taking your local "thugs" won't do the trick.

If you are interested in getting into this field,, do some homework!! You've been wanting to get into this field for over three years; what have you learned about it so far?? Those that are successful in this field, read and gather information. Contact a local bondsman and see if they will hire/train you.
