all good here . . . some folks I know did not fare so well
Mayflower is is still shut down to any outside people . . . other than First Responders. Scott, thank you for calling. God is good . .. it could have been a whole different story for me last night. In reviewing the photos that I took this morning, after I spoke to you . . . the water was far closer than I thought and far higher than I thought. For those on my FB page I have posted pics of my yard and the street in front leading into the Jail . . . So very glad they put in the 5' culverts and still the water was at least 2-1/2' above the bank of the creek judging by the debris embedded in the foliage . . . was a scary night. When the Tornado Siren went off it was hunker down time. Folks, this is the time of year that Tornados start popping up . . stay alert and stay safe !
