I'd like to first apologize if this question was ask and answer, But I cannot find it. So I have to ask. In the state of connecticut there is Uniform requirement. There is a While attempting to apprehend a principal on a bond, all bail enforcement agents at all times will wear a jacket, shirt, or vest with (2) two inch yellow reflective letters spelling the words, “Bail Enforcement Agents” in full on the front and back of such clothing. I cannot find a website that sells this type. If there are any other B.E.A Agents from connecticut that know where I can gets these shirts please direct me to the website. Thank you |

Connecticut may also wish to have recovery agents wear a big sign that says... "I am fixing to grab you, run like hell" That would do just as well as wearing a bright yellow logo reading "Bail Enforcement Agent". I just cannot understand why someone would wear anything that absolutely WARNS THE FUGITIVE THAT YOU ARE GONNA GRAB HIM... How many deer hunter do you know that walk in the woods making noise and purposely trying to alert all animals of their presence... that is exactly what you are doing when you wear a "swat gear makeup"... it makes no sense to me... none at all. |

I can tell ya that what your asking is actually and probably a bit too broad to identify specifically... having said that... for the most part... most northeastern states are not easy to operate in... due to not only restrictive laws but overall attitude toward most... not all, but most in our profession... you only have to take a close look at AO's north of Richmond Virginia and talk to those associated with outrindustry to find this out. Make some calls and then believe about 1/5 of what you hear. I have operated north of Richmond on several occasions and know a number of industry leaders in those AO's... do a little research and you will see what we are talking about. I am the type of guy that tries very hard to go by the book and I have found it to be rather difficult to say the least... I cannot imagine the problems with those that try to operate 'under the radar' so to speak... they may get away with all sorts of things for a while but sooner or later.. the shoe will fall. |

The CA "uniform" is t-shirt, jeans and sneakers or boots (or, occasionally...sandals ). I agree that hunting while wearing a "sign" is ridiculous and counterproductive. |
