Well, just got off Google, reading Scott Macleans articles. ("make sure the person isn't armed before waking him up) I learn something new everytime I read those articles. To be honest, I've never thought of that, man I learn something new daily. Had a nice phone conversation from a guy we all admire and and got another perspective on an issue I'm dealing with. Had a skip in Newnan Ga i had to scoop up which made me and my wife miss breakfast with another person we all admire. Well, like I said, just checking in. BTW, tell me I'm not the only one that doesn't check to see if a man is armed prior to waking him. I'm feeling more like a rookie each time I google Maclean. Bill M PM sent PS I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how you got out of the 9mm situation. I've kinda perfected a way to get the odds on my side in that situation but am having a tough time visualizing how that was done with the 9mm. Correction, the odds aren't on my side but I do increase my chances of getting out of that situation, by a little. Take care |

If you push the slide back, the hammer can't hit the firing pin. If you grab the gun from the top, with your thumb across the rear sights and the rest of your fingers curled around the top of the hancle and squeeze like you are grabbing a hand, it will keep the slide back. Ritate against their thumb and the weapon is yours. I have famly in Newnan and Sharpsburg, where Snow Wolf is from! Stay safe! Scott |

Now I understand how the job was done on the 9mm, as well as "no blood pressure" Thanks for the reply, I just couldn't get it in my head until the explanation. Take care!! |
