Howdy Folks! I decided to drop by and see what's happening on FRN today. This past week has been pretty busy, and it appears things are looking up in Colorado for FRN work. It's been slow, mostly because of some law that has now been sunset. We picked up one gal in Lakewood and transported to Adams County. She just couldn't get herself around to appearing in court. FTA. The second one skipped about two months back, and I picked up papers from the bond agent on Monday. The bond agent was a bit anxious for us to fetch that guy in because he (the bond agent) was right on the fine edge of forfeiture of bond. Come Tuesday evening, we got him with a team of 4 guys and two Adams County deputies. The reason for the large number of folks on the apprehension is mostly because the place had people running around all over it. At least 8 we could see working in shops out back, and an unknown number of people in the main house. Once we had him, we discovered he had warrants in Adams county, so we didn't even need to transport! Thumbs up there! The 3rd was a bond revocation because the co-sign got word that the man was planning to leave the territory. We had to nail him quick. I got a call from a bondsman I haven't worked with before, and we got together at an apartment complex where this guy lives. (or lived before he took up residence at the county bed and breakfast!) Just the two of us is all that was needed to fetch him in. Plus I've got some process service papers to run out to defendants as well. Busy week, and I've enjoyed the heck out of it. Blessings, Mel |

Howdy Gents! Oh my stars! I forgot all about Philly! I surely would like to be there, especially after missing out on St. Louis. We've been planning a trip to Illinois, as onerous as that would be for me in particular, and maybe I could plan to hit Philly since I'd be better than halfway there already! I'll go read up on it and see what I can do! I sure do want to attend this one! Blessings, Mel |
