I have gotten several emails from people saying someone is not licensed in Indiana. Before you post and ruin someone please make sure you know what and where to Check.

All Licensed Indiana Bail bondsman can do recovery work, But all licensed recovery people may not write bonds.

Licensed Private Investigators can not effect a rearrest but they can find them and have Law Enforcement, Bondsman or Recovery people do the rearrest. but a licensed PI with a Indiana Enforcement Commission can arrest.

Security people can not arrest unless they have a Indian Law Enforcement Commission. Security Guards only protect property or people in Indiana.

A person can be a Private Investigator and not have a license if they work under a Licensed PI.

It takes 4000hrs in two years under a Licensed PI to apply for your own license, a Criminal Justice Degree or Law Enforcement with three years Commissioned can also apply.

Bail Bond or Recover Agents hours can not be used in place of 4000hr rule( For those that don't understand bail bond or Recovery hrs are not Excepted)
None of these licenses gives you a right to carry. You must have a permit, Indiana will honor some out of state licenses or permits.

Hope this cuts down on some calls and emails

Even with your detailed explanation, you are still going to get the same calls over and over again.

It just human nature.
