Just wanted to wish each and every one of you and your families a very Merry Christmas.

Please remember what this season is truly about:

1) The Birth of Jesus Christ- to all Christians He is our Lord and Savour

2) Families: A time of reunions, forgiving past hurts, and recognizing what truly matters in this world...each other.

3) Forgiving and forgetting.

Please remember Life is precious, it is short, and we need to make the most of it each and every day.

Also, please pray for our servicepersons in all branches, no matter where they may be, that God keep them safe and protect them from harm.

To all of you, I am greatful for the opportunity that this message board has presented me with this past year. I have made new freinds, learned alot from my peers, and have enjoyed (for the most part) the comraderie of you-my fellow BEA's.

Take care and God Bless

ALL OF US AT H&G INVESTIGATIONS WISH ALL OF YOU PEOPLE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON--MAY WE ALL HAVE A HAPPY HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS YEAR--MAY THE BEA GOD SMILE ON US-MAY OUR FORUM BE AS INTERESTING AND MY WE ALL BE HERE TO DISCUSS ISSUES FOR A LONG TIME TO COME---

A WORD TO THINK ABOUT ALL WE HAVE IS OURSELVES NOBODY ELSE WILL DEFEND OUR RIGHT TO DO OUR JOB --DISCUSSION IS FINE AND HEALTHY BUT IF WE GIVE IN AND GET DEVIDED WE LOSE OUR STRENGTH AND OUR PURPOSE

I FOR ONE FEEL THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO DO THIS JOB SOME ARE MANDATED BY STATUTE OTHERS ARE PERSONAL PREFERENCE-NO ONE THAT I KNOW KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT BEA SOME KNOW MORE THAN OTHERS--i HAVE THE PRIVALIGE TO WORK WITH LAW AND HAVE LEARNED ALOT FROM HIM I ALSO HOPE THAT HE LEARNED FROM ME--I CAN ALSO SAY I LEARNED FROM MOST OF YOU AND AGAIN I HOPE YOU LEARNED FROM ME

I STILL SAY WE NEED TO STEM THE TIDE OF THESE POOR QUALITY SCHOOLS TEACHING INCORRECT AND DANGEROUS POLICYS AND PROCEDURES TO UNQUALIFED STUDENTS 3 DAYS WEEKS OR MONTHS DOES NOT MAKE A TRAINED AND QUAILIFIED BEA PUSH FOR A MENTORING PROGRAM ALONG WITH LICENSING IN YOUR STATE-I BELIEVE IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO STEM THE TIDE OF THE PROBLEMS WE HEAR ABOUT ALMOST EVERY DAY

HGUNNER is right on the money regarding training and 'schools' for training. Whatever happened to the idea of having someone lobby for federal legislation in bail enforcement? It seems to have died out. I don't believe we will ever have a federal standing but I certainly hope it does happen.
