Last I heard he was still in New Orleans area doing security detail. I hope that he and his family are ok. Yes it would be nice if he checked in so we all knew if everything is alright. |

Sorry for not posting earlier guys! Yep I got back from New Orleans a few days ago and was up when the tornado hit... about a mile or so south east of me. I was pretty lucky I guess, lots of lighting and wind but it bypassed me. About a block away from my girlfriends apartment is one of the places it hit, destroying a trailer park. One of my friends has a friend who lost her husband and young daughter in that tornado. Apparently it was one of the worse to hit Indiana since 1974. I thank you for the concern folks! (It's good to know that my sometimes long winded but usually witty posts would be missed ) |

Thanks all, Yes it was pretty bad in the tornado area... they had a curfew enacted in the areas the past couple of days and restricted access. They were still looking for bodies as of yesterday. Hopefully there are no more. Most people were sleeping when the thing hit. I know I heard the sirens go off, but a lot of people probably ignored it as they usually always go off during a severe storm. |
