Post subject:  HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving tomorrow...

My son, my grandson and myself are into the woods in the morning... maybe get a chance at a nice deer, turkey or maybe even a bear... I will not shoot a bear but I sure enjoy watching them... as long as they do not get too close... we have quite a few in our area and I have seen a few over the years... I just don't want to shoot one... but a deer, well, I like the meat and have always been able to get one when I try real hard... my grandson got a small buck two weeks ago... he is 12 and learning from his dad and me...

I think it is important for a young man to learn the ways of the woods ... properly taught, from the man figures in his life... there are many lessons to be learned... all important IMHO...

... and I finally got a LIFETIME hunting and fishing license... no more annual payments... I now qualify as an official senior citizen hunter/fisherman... no more fresh or saltwater licenses needed... so now, I probably won't catch anything!!! or even see a deer or bear or turkey...

I have been ordered by my wife and children to carry a cell phone and a walki talki with me at all times... and they made sure my phone has GPS... are they worried or what???

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Have a good day, eat a lot, be successful and safe in the woods and enjoy the football games and the parades... it's a great season.

The Boss, dogs and I are going to try and make it in to our mountain hideout. It snowed the last couple of days and the county does not plow the road leading up to our property.

If we can get in we will spend a couple of days without any tv or crowds or telephones!

Either way, everyone have a good, peaceful day and remember what it is really all about.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Bill, if you see my mother in law, you better not miss because she is mean!

In all seriousness, though business is down for many of us, we still have a roof over our heads, clothes on our back and food for our families, not everyone can say that...

I am Thankful. I wish each and every one of you a Blessed and Grace filled day. While we are each going about our day, say a little prayer for those that allow us to do so, and their families who are without them this day. May God Bless them and keep them. May God Bless Us All.
