I did not post this in the "Memorial" section since he was not a member of this industry... but he was my friend.
Just a quick mention here of the loss of a very good friend of mine, unexpectedly on Tuesday AM... September 21, 2010... age 53.
Gerald W. (Jerry) Gumm, friend, fellow trucker for 24 years, confidant and valuable contributor to my humor, my character and my moral fiber... he will be missed and his memory will endure as long as I am on this earth. I offer this short blessing:

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
