I know this sounds like a stupid question/post but......

Approximately 1 year ago, Pennsylvania "supposedly" enacted a new law requiring FRA's to be licensed (which I think is a great idea!). This law was suppose to take effect 7-1-2012 but it seems as if no Pennsylvania Agency knows anything about the law. Furthermore, information has surfaced that the law NEVER passed.

Can any of my FRA brethren in Pennsylvania verify any of this?

I have tried finding out info about this and I keep hitting a brick wall. I want to get some work in PA but have been reluctant. Because I am waiting to hear about the licensing procedure. Question what does someone need to hunt in PA currently ?

I can not find the new "law" anywhere on any Pa. site. There is a possibility that the bill/law did not pass.

I will continue to research this further.

The proposed bill passed a vote in the house of representatives but never was brought up for consideration in the senate so it did not become law. It will probably be reintroduced next year.

This reminds me of the ongoing project to get PC1299 reinstated here in California. It expired/sunsetted on 1/1/10. There was an attempt to get a new bill introduced and psuhed through for the first of the year this year, but it didn't happen. Yet another version is being pushed through now and rumored to take effect on 1/1/13.
