i was told that the control number on the fugitve recovery agent id cards was from the bondsman that we are working for. i was wondering if that was true and if so would i have to get more id cards for every bondsman that i work for.

I would think that you should review you state laws and regulations, and confer with the bondsman that you work. I can advise you that bail enforcement agent identification cards in Delaware and Virginia are issued by the state. And in Maryland which does not regulate bail enforcement, the private detective identification card is issued by the state.

I know of several bondsman that issue in house recovery agent company I'D cards but they do not take the place of any State or city licensing as stated check your state laws to make sure you are in compliance.

In Florida.. the ONLY ... "ID" Cards .. are Photo ID Cards issued by the Florida Dept of Financial Services.. which state our name and state license # and that we have ARREST POWERS and Quote "Taylor vs Taintor" along with the Florida State Statutes that regulate Bail in Florida.

Florida and NC are very similar...State issued ID cards, by the DOI, Name, state seal, id number and photo...

Yeah there is no id cards for my state. The only ID we are allowed to carry for recovery is a badge and state id or dl

No ID cards for fugitive recovery in California, either. Except the online homemade "crackerjack box" IDs that some guys make and carry.
