I am interested in getting started in the bail enforcement field, specifically in the Rhode Island/ Mass/Ct area. I've read a lot about "mentors" and "training" and becoming an "assistant". I have no luck finding much about where or who to speak with to get started. I have found numerous web sites about online/home study courses but can't find anyone to vouch for their usefullness or value (execpt people associated with the programs). Can anyone help me out with this? Perhaps working agents in my area I could meet or speak with that aren't trying to sell me anything. I have no problem paying for training since it is obviosly vital but I really have no desire to throw my money into something of little or no value. Likewise, I have no problem learning hands-on and working as an assistant to gain invaluable experience but I can't force it to happen.
Any help you experienced agents could offer would be great! Please feel free to e-mail at
P_G_S@yahoo.com and thank you very much for your help.
