Les,

It depends on what aspect of BE one is tasked to do and how tasks are approached. Some people just do the investigative part while others move to physically arrest.

The key to the question may be physical ability.

While most arrests are uneventfu, a BEA may be called upon to put his or her physical assets into action, and what I mean by this is that one should be physically able to observe the many ways a BEA stays safe.

Then again, as described in "Desktop Bounty Hunter," BEA work can be done with a keyboard just as effectively as hitting the streets.

This is a complex question, and I'm sure some of the pros on this forum will offer their wisdom on the subject.

Rex

AGE IS A RELATIVE THING-SOME PEOPLE ARE TO OLD AT 21 YEARS OF AGE OTHERS ARE NEVER TO OLD-STYLE IS IMPORTANT-DO YOU HUNT ALONE CAN YOU CARRY YOUR LOAD IN AN EMERGENCY-REMEMBER INJURYS HURT HARDER AND LAST LONGER THE OLDER WE GET-CAN YOU STILL GO ONE ON ONE WITH A SKIP IF NEEDED REMEMBER YOUR LIFE COULD DEPEND ON IT-ALSO AGE TENDS TO CREATE REASON IN SOME PEOPLE AND COOL DOWN HOT HEADS -ALL GOOD THINGS

I AM A 49 YEAR OLD FAT GUY WITH A PLASTIC KNEE AND ATHRITIC HIP CAN NOT MOVE FAST OR FAR BUT THAT IS WHY I HAVE YOUNG TEAM MEMBERS-ALSO I HAVE BEEN HUNTING ALMOST AS LONG AS THEY ARE ALIVE---AGAIN I WILL ALWAYS TAKE BRAINS OVER BRAUN BUT ALITTLE OF BOTH ARE GOOD

I, for one, will never be too old so long as my holster is filled with Viagra.

Depends on the person you make what you put into it if you feel you can do the job then go for it
